Application window for grant for charging infrastructure at businesses open

Are you considering having an electric vehicle charging infrastructure built on your premises? You can recently apply for a subsidy for this under the 'Private Charging Infrastructure at Businesses Subsidy Scheme (SPRILA) Purchase'. You can also benefit from this subsidy if you share a site with other entrepreneurs or in case of a rented site. An important condition is that the terrain may not always be publicly accessible. You will receive a maximum subsidy of €350,000 per calendar year for part of the costs of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and its construction. To determine when to submit your application to the RFO, you must first use a calculation tool to determine whether you are eligible for more or less than €25,000 of subsidy. In the first case, you should submit the application before the work starts and in the second case afterwards. Since this year, you can no longer combine SPRILA with the environmental investment allowance (MIA).

Tip

Because you are preserving, you may start using or generating more electricity. Therefore, before submitting your grant application, check whether you will be affected by a overloaded power grid.
